Luna

Let this image speak for itself. An image I took using the 18x optical zoom of my Nikon Coolpix P80 with the macro function on to get the details and clouds.

A Drop in An Ocean of Infinity

Have you ever felt so bad that just thinking of something makes you want to cry? You feel the hurt so much that the mere thought makes your eyes water, very much like a faucet being turned on?

In the sea of life, we are sometimes slammed onto the rocks in the middle of nowhere with nothing to hold on to. We sometimes feel like were drowning from all the things that are happening too fast for us to catch up with.

We get hurt. We get angry. We start blaming anything, everything and most of the time, everyone. We scream. We shout. We let the dam fall and let all the negative emotions go. And yes, most of the time, we curl up like a ball and then we CRY.

We let the tears fall in order to mend our broken hearts. We let the tears fall and let our minds tire out in order to get some peace. And then before we drown, we realize, the tears that we have shed is nothing but a drop in an ocean of infinity.

And here's where we triumph over that threat of drowning. We swim, we grasp the good times, we fight and then we find ourselves on the shore. Tired and bruised, but not beaten. The human spirit triumphs. We stand up, brush the sands from our shoulders, look at the ocean and then we see the sun setting on the horizon. As it sinks lower, we feel renewed because we know that the end of the day has come and the promise of brighter tomorrow is just but an arms length away.

We then go home, rest our tired mind and bodies. We take time to think and plan ahead. We look at the day's "failures" and we LEARN. The sea of knowledge and opportunities is vast, we only need to learn how to swim in it and make our own drop in its infinity count.

Happiness Through Jazzy's Eyes

There's just so many things to be thankful and happy about. But, what goes on inside our furry friend's minds.

I guess, here are some photos and maybe we can infer from them what makes them happy.

I'm happy because although, I have a collar, I'm still free to roam around the house, sit where I like, lie down where I want and happily watch people and things as they pass me by. I still have freedom because my family makes sure that I enjoy my life.

The only thing that I pray is that my little Jazzy is as happy as we are because of him. So, what made me happy? The fact that I was able to take some portraits of Jazzy is more than enough to make me smile. The reason, he DOES NOT like his photos being taken. He either avoids by turning his head or totally leaving me to photograph an empty space.

Brightest Blessings!
